DRIPPING SPRINGS (KJCE) -- The search is on for two suspects involved in the robbery of a jewelry store in Dripping Springs Saturday morning.

The Hays County Sheriff's Office says it received a report of an aggravated robbery at Vik's Jewelers at 598 East Highway 290 in Dripping Springs around 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Two black males entered the store and brandished handguns and ordered two employees to raise their hands. One suspect attempted to break the glass to one of the jewelry display cases, but was unsuccessful. The second suspect then fired two rounds into the case to gain access. After stealing the jewelry out of the display case the two suspects fled the store and left in a vehicle described as a dark green or gray Nissan car.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, standing 5' 7", weighing about 175 pounds, and wearing light colored jeans, a black sweatshirt-like shirt, a tan baseball hat, and sunglasses. The second suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, standing 5' 9", weighing about 150 pounds, with facial hair, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a wide white stripe on the sleeves, a camouflage style boonie hat, and a reflective vest similar to a construction worker.

The two victims were not injured during the robbery.
