Pedestrian hit in North Austin Sunday morning
(Austin/KJCE) Police and EMS medics responded to an auto-pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in North Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS says a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in his 20s around 2:30 a.m. in the 11400 block of Burnet Road, near the intersection with Braker Lane. The pedestrian was being administered CPR and was later transported to Round Rock Medical Center.
Police say the driver stopped at the scene to render aid, and he was not intoxicated. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Burnet when the pedestrian crossed at a crosswalk, but against the traffic signal.
