Austin-area Chipotle restaurants supporting Central Texas Food Bank today
AUSTIN (KJCE) -- Austin-area Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants are supporting the Central Texas Food Bank today.
All day Friday, from 10:45 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Chipotle will donate 50 percent of your total check to the Central Texas Food Bank. It's easy - just mention the fundraiser at the register before you pay.
The money raised will benefit Central Texas Food Bank initiatives that help nearly 46,000 people access nutritious food every week.
Chipotle believes in giving back to its communities by partnering with local nonprofits – like Central Texas Food Bank – for fundraisers. Just last year, Chipotle gave back $20 million to community organizations nationwide through its fundraising program.
